This school welcomes 199 girls and boys from preschool to 6th grade. The Hélène Gravel School opened their doors in September 2001. The school was named after a woman of vison and principle, Madame Hélène Gravel. Madame Gravel served as a teacher at the MacDonald-Cartier school for more than 23 years.
Madame Gravel died on the 4th of November, 2000.
